Did you know that Wisconsin doesn’t recognize relatives as automatic decision makers when someone is incapacitated? The court appoints a guardianship, meaning you have to pay thousands of dollars for a stranger to make decisions on your loved ones’ care, but you can avoid all of this and save your money by completing your POA paperwork. It truly is a gift to your family because they won’t be left wondering what your wishes are.
