What else do I need to know?

• Reserve/cancel dining meals one business day in advance (ex: to reserve/cancel Monday meals, call by noon the Friday before).
• When you arrive, you will check in. You will be asked to fill out a registration card if you are a new diner. Annual registration is required for everyone.
• Carryout is not allowed; however, we understand unforeseen situations may come up and may be considered temporarily.
• The suggested donation for diners is $5.50, except Café 60 which is $6.50 (updated 8-2025). No eligible person is denied a meal due to inability to pay. We ask all participants to give a contribution within their means. A donation letter will be mailed to you.
• Weather conditions may close sites. Watch TV 13 and TV 18 for information. You can still call the meal sites to reserve your meal for the next day - leave a voicemail. Note: Closure of the Chippewa County Senior Centers does not reflect closure of Senior Dining at their locations - it only reflects closure of the center's other programs and classes. The closure list will specifically state "Chippewa County Senior Dining" if the program is truly closed.
• Please always have your driveway, steps, sidewalk clear of snow and ice - we do not want to put our volunteer meal delivery drivers at risk.

• Holiday closures: Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
