There are roads and bridges located throughout Chippewa County that have weight restrictions year round and others temporarily during the spring thaw.  These limits are put in place to protect the investment of the public’s tax dollar.  Weight restrictions are one way that we can try to prolong the life of our county highways and maximize the life of the roadway.
