Chippewa County, WI was established in 1848 and has an estimated population of 66,000. Chippewa County is divided into 21supervisory districts, and each district has a representative on the County Board of Supervisors. In April 2022 the County Board size increased from 15 supervisory districts to 21 supervisory districts. Chippewa County government is operated under an administrative form of government and the County Administrator reports to the County Board. The annual County general operating budget is approximately $99 million.

Meeting Agendas and Minutes

The County Board of Supervisors generally meet at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday in Room 302 of the Chippewa County Courthouse.
