Chippewa County Highway Department wishes to thank you for your interest in helping to keep Chippewa County beautiful!  We are proud to partner with WisDOT's Adopt-A-Highway program to maintain beauty along our county highways located with in the boundaries of Chippewa County.  WisDOT's Adopt-A-Highway program is the official coordination system for generous volunteer efforts that remove trash, recyclables, and litter from state highway roadsides.  Chippewa County Highway Department coordinates efforts for county trunk highways within the county boundaries.

 

PURPOSE

The program offers groups an inexpensive project that gives its members the satisfaction of making a contribution to their community and their state.  At the same time, the Adopt-A-Highway program generates publicity for the group's service activities while assisting the public in keeping our highways clean and aesthetically pleasing.
